The only thing I disagreed with was the assertion Doughty did anything to expose the defense.

Agree with basically what you're saying. But I thought their QB was pretty composed with the pressure he was getting. Isn't he the first QB we've faced this year that had 3 TD passes against us?

The best QB should put up the best numbers against us? Right? I'm sorry you're stupid little brain can't comprehend that attempts matter. Throwing for 330 isn't a big deal when you put the ball in the air over 60 times. Have fun thinking you've won something here. Your guy was average at best, and only accumulated yards because he threw the ball a million times.

Any other QB throw for 3TD's and 300+ yards against us?

Mahoney did, but he threw for 154 yards.

The consensus was we were going to be good because we are always good. In reality, losing Jalen Collins a year early, kicking Rashard Robinson off the team, and losing Jalen Mills for the first half of the season has been a pretty big blow to this unit.

I recall, even after losing Collins, that most of the talk was that we were loaded in the secondary. We had signed a slew of young studs that were ready to play, and were basically 3 deep at each position.

No question, losing Mills hurt more than most thought. But RJ has been terrible, and Adams has been shockingly average most of the year.

I don't think anybody felt like 7 games in, our weak link was going to be the secondary. But I think it is. And I think most objective observers of LSU would agree they're underachieving. If they were anywhere close than advertised before the season, I think LSU would be a clearcut #1 in the nation at this point.

HE THREW IT 62 TIMES. GD. It's like saying they gave up 400 yards of offense on 80 offensive plays.....which is much worse than giving up 280 yards of offense on 55 offensive plays....I give up.

holy shite.

What a complete pussy you are. Certainly not a man. A real man admits he was wrong and moves on. Good god.

Exactly. Tough to believe that our secondary gave up 3 TD's to the Hilltoppers. Glad we can agree on this.

He was, and I think he's a decent QB, but like you said, there was no one within 10 yards of their WRs on the TD passes. That illustrates the weakness of our secondary more than Doughty being the best QB we've faced.

I hope that you are 20 or so years old. Please don't tell me you are much older than that. I can see a kid being a pussy and refusing to own up like a man.

What a fricking loser.

Uh oh. You might want to edit that. Tigerinthehollow will say you are on here bitching and bashing the LSU defense.

This is just a little punk kid...to anyone with a brain he looks like a complete, ignorant, pussy.

He was on here one day advising kids not to worry about making good grades, just be good a networking.

He is not very intelligent, that is clear. He is certainly not a man that is able to fess up that he was wrong and move on. The more I see him post, the more it becomes clear that he, in all likelihood, believes what he is saying is right, and he honestly can't comprehend the attempts and yards per attempt. He thinks that is special for some reason. 300 yards and 3 td's is a hell of a game for BH, given that he literally threw the ball about a third as many times as this overrated qb LSU faced last night. I'm moving on. This is just a kid playing a game, and not a terribly bright one, and definitely one without character.

no man.....I've never really dealt with you. I looked at some of your post history. You are true to form. There is no use debating against people like you. I don't think you have ever heard me say that there isn't cause for concern on the several busts we have had in the secondary over the course of the year. I've just got a little more realism in me to go off saying they are bad, suck, weak, etc. Overall, they are a strong unit with definitely some areas to work on. As I said, I looked at your history....you are very true to form. Continue on sir. Have a good day.

Secondary is definitely suspect. Put pressure on Coker, he will fold however. The key is forcing him into errors.

I agree with you. Seemed like Coker's success yesterday was throwing it up for grabs on the back shoulder of the WR. And he seems to fold when pressured and takes the sack.

It's the QB that can read and feel pressure, and dump it to the open guy, that scare me. They dink and dunk all day. Coker ain't one of them.
