If Doughty was the best QB we will see for the rest of the year, we can pretty much cakewalk to Atlanta. W. Kentucky was basically a carbon-copy of aTm and Ole Miss.

How does this make any sense in your head? Best QB does not equal best team. Nor does the best team always win, don't be obtuse.

Why would I say oops? Doughty showed last night he is a NFL talent QB, as I said before. He is the best QB we will face in the regular season, we will not see an offense like that again. Unless you think WKU is a sorry arse directional school then that says more about our performance than WKU's.

Good god.

He threw the ball 62 times last night, with about an average of 5 yards per attempt. You blasted us for saying they would score between 16 and 21 points saying we weren't being objective about the greatness of this QB. I think any fkn qb in the country if he could throw it 62 times in a game could get more yards that that cat got last night....AND it was a wet field and our dbs were giving cushion.....LSU was a 16 point favorite...won by 28...and YOUR QB got outplayed by the best QB on the field last night. Eat your fricking crow you pussy. You were wrong. He showed absolutely nothing last night....his QBR is 45....WKU is what we said they were...a bottom feeding SEC team.....at best. What a pussy that can't even man up when you were proven dead wrong.

As I posted in the other thread,

You are a lunatic. Majority of this board will say Doughty is a respectable, NFL talent QB. And I had us winking by 21+, I specifically mentioned to lsu2006 that the QB doesn't have the talent around him to compete with us, nor the defense. This game went just as expected. You were the one who said we'd have a bunch of sacks, we had 1. Quit being a raging lunatic. WKU has a good QB who knows how to run that offense and what our secondary did against them is very respectable regardless if others try to discredit it.

rubber meets road!

Who was the best QB on the field last night? Answer that one simple question please.

It's not shocker that the only two teams that cat played this year, he averaged 17 points a game.

Middle Tenn top offense
Ole Miss top offense
WK top offense
Georgia top offense....

LMFAO

You do realize QB play has a lot to do with the talent level around the QB and the competition talent level? But whatever kid, you win the argument, I lose, blah blah blah.

Please link this statement. Liar.

I simply said he has been good against shitty teams. That was my entire basis and I didn't say anything else. He isn't a bad QB....but the best qb on the field last night was wearing purple, and it isn't even close. You laughed at me for saying WK would score between 16 and 21 points, calling it not objective given the way we performed against EK and others. I predicted a 24 point win....I was wrong. Again, what a pussy. You were dead wrong.

This wasn't your platform coming into the game.

obviously, since your argument was destroyed.

The knock on Eli was short passes... He has had a solid NFL career

He is an NFL QB.....but has probably been one of the most overrated ones that has gotten the praise and publicity he has...simply due to winning a couple super bowls with great teams around him, and because of his name. He has been a poor QB a number of years.

The dude's a good QB, will get drafted, and exposed that the only real weakness LSU has is in the secondary. (excluding special teams).

Our secondary was a pre-season pick to be the strength of our team. Weird how it has become the weakness, and it's not even close.

serious question? Did you even watch the game or did you look at the 300 passing yards?

Did you realize that he threw for a PATHETIC 5 yards per attempt?

I swear I'm not sure how some of you make it in life, other than welfare.

This guy was mediocre. He threw ugly balls that needed circus catches, they got away with holding all night. The guy was nothing special, and Dak is without question better than him.

HOLY shite

What exactly were you right about? His 5 yards per attempt, or the fact that you said they would score more than 21 points. I'm sure I can go back in the thread and find where you gave your estimates of yards and points...well, one of the many threads where you were on a crusade for this QB.

Name all the better qb's we face in our schedule, sans Dak since it's debatable imo.

As is Brandon Harris...although the argument can be made that LSU of course didn't face Brandon Harris...lol..but the best QB on the field last night was in Purple....by far.

Backtracking already

Treon Harris was more impressive. This guy was garbage last night and you look like a fool. So how are you related to him?

I never said they would score more than 21, I said it would be closer than expected by posters on this board, and it was until the 4th qtr. Posters are still shitting their pants from the exposure of our secondary not realizing that it was a product of WKU's QB and that offense.
