Torn between 2003 and 2006. You can argue for either. I'm leaning towards 2003.
JR throwing over 3000 yards made the WR core extra special.

Bowe
Davis
Doucet

Bowe is an all pro. Davis was a 1st rounder. I remember after the 1st game of the 2007 season Doucet was projected as a top 5 pick. If it wasn't for that injury who knows where he would be now. Honestly I always thought if he was never injured he would have been a Santana Moss clone.

This is mine. Average draft position 44 2/3. Not too shabby (but they had a freak of nature QB in 2006 - that always helps).

For now, I'll agree with Bowe, Doucet, Lafell and Davis. That was a hell of a group.

We can revisit this after this season. This year's group certainly has the talent to be special, especially with a good QB throwing the ball.

agree, although at the time they were together jojo was pretty green. then you had 07 where early was knicked up half the year and jojo had the case of the drops, but all that aside i'd choose that group. lest we forget slip screen dynamo rj jackson.

What????? Reed on his own was beter than any receiving corps LSU has ever had. ever...

Therefore - 2001 - Reed and any walk on you can name > 2006, or any other year. Look at the production. Now, end thread.
