And if you think Larry Coker is an elite coach then you need to stop shooting drugs

Larry Coker won 60 games in 6 Seasons. Averaged 10.0 wins per season. Butch Davis won 51 games in 6 seasons. Averaged 8.5 Wins per season, including a losing record in his 3rd year.

People like you don't like winning I guess.

PM is the only one of the three to take teams at different universities that he recruited and coached to the final eight in his respective sport.

He might have avoided termination of employment had he not yielded a 7-6 record in his last season. There really was no excuse for that. It's not like they are feeling the effects of probabation.

This was not intended to be a Miles is Coker reincarnated thread. I don't believe Miles is Coker and the staff he put together this year should at a minimum replicate the pre-Malveto success Miles and Co. enjoyed.

For those students of the game, members of the media, and peers in the coaching profession who consistently rank Miles outside of the top quartile, its likely due to his inability to effectively articulate the intricacies of the game when caught up in the moment (halftime, pre-game, post-game interviews).

Bump - Thought with the recent turn of events, some may want to revise their rankings.

The best LSU coach is Van C., and it's not even close. You all may not like it but it's true. The 2nd is DD. You all may not like it but in their sports 1 is a legend and the other is headed there!
