Besides blind loyalty, what is the point in watching this team unless something changes?

No point watching in 2018 at least not football. Unless you are trained in cardiac arrest it might not be healthy to watch.

According to some, if your kid/friend/etc are on drugs and you’ve done everything possible to help them, you just have to continue to support them instead of letting them hit rock bottom and realize the mess they are.

Just that and the fact it is just a game to be enjoyed for what it is

It took the administration with a crowd of 30k against Southern Miss back in 1994 to finally cut ties with Hallman. I would think something similar would have to happen. Decreased revenues from lack of ticket sales speaks volumes. With that being said, there’s still a lot of loyalty for that to change at the moment.

But it's not enjoyable.

sounds like a very front-running thing to say. I watch our team regardless of how good or bad we are. It's not blind loyalty, it's called being a fan. As a fan, you watch and support the team through the good and the bad. And I can assure you the bad has been a lot worse than it is right now. Some of the younger fans haven't had the opportunity to experience what is actually bad football. Not to mention the team has done nothing wrong and they deserve the support of the fans regardless of the state of the program.

I'll never not support the players, but our money doesn't go to them, it goes to the powers that be that are ruining the program. Maybe taking that away from them is what is needed for change.

Don’t watch. You aren’t a fan anyway

It's going to take a whole lot more for the money to dry up, and quite frankly, I'm not willing to try to sabotage the program like that, because there's no guarantee we ever get out of that hole. See Tennessee

Because you are a fan of LSU football and the program is bigger than you, me, Coach O, Joe A and any single player.

Enjoy life and turn off your heater so the melt will go away.
