Pollsters which had MSU unranked didn't understand how much talent MSU has this year. They looked at the SEC slate and assumed losses against big, bad LSU, bama, Auburn, tamu and @OM.

Preseason polls and polls in general are extremely flawed and pretty much useless if you ask me. If I had it my way, there would be no polls at all until about 2 weeks from now.

Interesting, I don't know what corner I backed myself into. Also, YGDR I will defend LSU. Finally, what do the Nega's do? Seriously? What happens when LSU starts winning, after all the ridiculous bashing and 4-8 predictions...what do they do, just act like they never said it?

Corporate influence, technology and instant gratification have pretty much put a stake in the heart of that beast. I remember my first game in TS in 1982 vs Florida State. That place was insane from start to finish. One old timer was pacing back and forth behind us swigging from an open fifth of Jack Daniels yelling and screaming the whole time. And not a damn thing was said to him nor was he hassled by security. It's a different animal today, unfortunately.

This fan base needs this. We've become spoiled. Go back to the early 90's type shite for a couple of years, then we might appreciate good things when we get them.
