Wrong. Stingley was looking at the Bama bench as the ball was snapped. Their receiver ran right past him.

Sorry, you’re wrong. There is NEVER a reason why LSU should be in press man coverage, with CB’s lined up on the line when you are up 2 scores and with less than 2:00 on the clock
He was speaking of the first Bama TD pass but was still wrong because Stingley was looking at the LSU sideline.

Wasn’t that LSU first game of the season while Texas played a game prior to that.
No it was our second game. We played Georgia Southern the week before to start the season.

Totally correct. Aranda blew that one, I'm sure he would say so as well if you asked him.

You’re referencing a different one. That’s the one at the end of the game.
And that was on Aranda for sure

Ehhhh the Texas game was close.
Let's be honest, that's probably the best game Texas has played in a decade and it ended the same way the 2009 CWS did

Rewatch. It wasn't as close as it seemed watching live. Yea they scored at will second half. But the team was not worried. They had it. They weren't skeered.

Auburn and Bama where just one recovered on side kick away from a loss also.
They were both, along with Texas, one recovered onside kick from having a slim chance to tie or win late in those games. In those three games the opponents were down multiple scores late, and scored on their last possessions to get within 7, but couldn’t convert the onside kicks. LSU then ran out the clock. The other 12 games were blowouts of 14 points or better. At no point in the season did any opponent have the ball with a chance to tie or win any of the 15 games in the final minutes.
