My claim isn’t that he’s doing something new, just that it’s a tough strategy against elite pitching. Jones still hits for a high average because he is good. Doesn’t mean there aren’t things he can change to improve. I added a link above showing the change for Crews.

Love the guy but he’s running out of games to break the slump.
