I booed him, and I don't regret it. When I grew up, boys were men at age 18. Apparently the "he's just a kid" excuse works here. I understand it and I realize he's not a professional athlete, but I haven't seen ANY development in his game. His freshman year, even if you write that off, he showed almost a regression last year. At the very best, he looked the same. He threw one pass against vandy, and now everyone wants to crown him as our offensive savior. I'd love to see him improved, but let's just say I'll remain realistically skeptical until he proves himself. And I don't think he should get a chance to do that against moo state unless the game is in hand, or Jefferson is 2-18 with 2 ints at half.

People booed. Many of the people who now chant "we want lee, bench jefferson." Most people change their minds as fast as the wind changes directions around here. To each his own.

I'd love to see an improved Jarrett Lee who can lead our team and make our offense good. He was AWFUL IMHO as both a freshman and a sophomore. We can say whatever you want for the reasons, I have mine and I'm sure other people had theirs.

I wouldn't mind seeing him get some time. I just don't think he's our answer to our offensive struggles. Hopefully he won't be boo-able this year. But if he plays like he did and they keep sticking with him, I'll boo. Call me stuck in my ways.

And seriously people, man up. The boos were deafening when he even walked onto the field.

You might not be at the game when he played. After one of his bad passes or INTs, the TS was filled with boos. Some came from the student section, some came from the middles. It was pathetic, man.

I mean when you average a pick-6 a game, people start to get restless.

And don't act like people don't boo their team. It happens all over the country. To think it wouldn't happen at LSU is stupid. Especially with how pessimistic our fanbase is.

I did when watching on tv or listening to the game. Also, I don't think he should start but should play.

Say what? Don't we have the greatest fanbase in the nation?

We should come up with a noise that signals who we're booing. Maybe like a Wookie call for the players, standard booing for the coaches

And yes we do have the best fanbase in the nation. But it's also one that demands excellence.

I don't ever boo LSU players or my own team, no matter how upset I get. I curse and fume and sometimes throw things, but after a day or two I usually get my perspective back.

well said....I sequester myself in the upstairs gameroom and even the cat won't come near me.

hmm, i'm still gonna want to see some over the middle passing this year. i guess i'll stick with JJ then

I'm sure that you are the only human being that has improved his abilities with experience...
if such was the case..there would be many QBs who would have never gotten a chance ..MANY sucked as Freshmen...

your views are NEGATIVE .. but I am sure that the JJ agenda is behind..
Personally, I do not give a damn which one plays, but JJ is not doing it right now..for whatever reason and we need to develop a 2nd QB, whoever that 2nd QB is will, some day, be needed.
