An occasional double digit win season every couple of years in the mix.

Bottom line is we could be back in the pre-Saban days.

Is it true, or not?

I am still waiting for someone to tell me the program that LSU should emulate...? Who has been a perennial Top 10 team for the last 10 years. Wins everything. Who?

The best I got is Texas, and they got fricking embarrassed on Saturday.

I live in the nicest neighborhood in Mandeville. My wife is not only thin and extremely attractive but also highly intelligent with a PHD. I have a great life and probably money that you wish for every night.

You just showed your true ignorance with your comments.

Can you name a program that is doing that? Just one would be fine. Not USCw, they were 9-4 last year. Not Florida, they were 9-4 with a fricking Heisman winner.

It is understandable to have one "down" year every 4-5 years if you have a young team, but with the talent we have had the last 3 years there is no excuse for 8-9 win seasons consistently

If you had played any football you would realize exactly how foolish this statement is. Once a coach leaves and a new staff comes in, they make changes in technique, scheme, philosophy, practice schedule, etc. For this statement to have any merit, the hold over players would have to totally ignore what is being taught by the new staff. That doean't happen. You need to fold on this issue, your hand is empty.

You are a loser. I bet you are happy with your fat wife, shite house and pathetic life that you rationalize as "its ok". You can go sit in the corner and jack off with that loser attitude. I want a winner. I want the best.

So basically the point of this thread is to be happy with being slightly above mediocre with the chance to be pretty good every 5 years.

Gotcha.

You're and idiot.. i would be happy with a 8-9 win season if we had 8-9 win talent but we have double digit winning talent and its not being used properly.. Miles is doing these kids an injustice and its sad.

How do you know about all the talent? Any idea how many kids coming into college can run a 4.5? Hundreds of them. Plenty of teams have as much talent as LSU.

BTW - anybody with some rapper punk as their idol really has f-cked up priorities.

i'll be happy when we win compete for the SEC West at least once every 3 years. If we do that, the Championships will take care of themselves.

This is year 3.

so i guess you're saying that a 5'8 runningback thats runs a 4.5 from a fcs school that doesnt play is as good as russell shepard running a 4.5? Obviously you know about talent considering that they must be good cuz they can run a 4.5? stop talking please.

The best programs in the nation do 8-9 win seasons and win the NC or conference title occasionally

bullshite. Ohio State consistently wins more than that since the 12-game schedule came into practice. Texas does it every year. Florida State did it for something like 15 years in a row. Nebraska did it for 30 years in a row. Alabama did it for 20+ years with maybe a couple of exceptions.

The best programs in the nation AVERAGE about 10 wins a season these days. LSU has for the last seven years, but will not from now going forward until Miles is gone.

Win it once every 3 years, or compete for it once every 3 years? An elite program should compete for it every year and win it at least once every 3.
