Who gives a shite? We need a QB to lead us. There are other recruits out there for
The coming years. If the other want to leave, let them leave. He will only be here for max
2 years, Lowell is a RS freshman. Brennan is a true soph. They would still both have chances to be the starter

I don’t see what’s the problem here, everyone on here knew we was getting a transfer quarterback. I guess the only problem is I guess is no one thought we would get one supposedly this good.

While the circumstances are different, TAM has been in QB hell with the the way they screwed around with guys.

Lost Kenny Hill, Kyle Allen and Kyler Murray because of incompetent management of the situation.

Kenny Hill became a drunk and fell apart after the Bama game

Kyle Allen fell apart after the Bama game, and Kyler Murray started the next 3 games. He was awful in every game from Bama on.

Kyler Murray was a highly rated spoiled brat that was getting into trouble and fighting with the coaching staff. He left immediately because he couldn't handle adversity.

How does that compare with LSU bringing in a transfer QB?

Auburn got transfers, Cam Newton, Nick Marshall, and Jarrett Stidham. All won the SEC West in their first year.

Ole Miss only became relevant with transfers Wallace and Kelly.

Kentucky got transfer Johnson. Magically it's the first time they've had a winning season since 2009. He helped them get them back to back winning seasons.

The only time LSU has had good QB play, was from transfer Mett.

Bama won the NCG with transfer Coker when they had talented QBs all around.

If we get Burrow and he has a good year, we'll definitely grab a top HS QB.

We do not have anybody that would fit into this list

Lets see. We'll be negative about our current QB situation unless we get a grad transfer who's better, but we lose a current QB or two. Then we'll hate the staff for bringing in the new guy!

One of the other QBs doesn’t like a transfer being brought in? Beat him out and win the starting job anyway. None of our QBs have stepped up. Maybe this will light a fire under one of them. If not, then Burrow will start. (If he comes to LSU, of course)

But, it seems as though there is a real sense of urgency with the staff and they aren’t totally confident in the three QBs currently on roster. One or a couple current QBs could bail. It could regress into a serious shite show. Let’s hope not.
If they're not good enough, then who cares if they transfer. They weren't going to be the answer for us here, so let them go.

QB transfers happen everywhere in college football. Bring in a bunch of good options, let them compete, and the best guy plays and others transfer. Nothing to see here.

No, not how it works

Saban is a "win at all cost" Coach. O knows he needs a QB, hurt feelings aside.

No. They had problems because they signed several diva QBs every year.

None of our current QBs have much of a leg to stand on if they are trying to be divas. Narcisse hasn’t played in 3 years. Brennan wasn’t exactly playing in a powerhouse conference in high school. And then there’s McMillan...... yeah.....

/thread.

If the staff thinks Burrows is the answer, then you go get him and win now. If the other QBs can't handle it, they can leave.

All I can say is watch his spring highlight film. He is on another level than what we have at qb rt now. No way should they pass him up out of fear. He’s got two years of eligibility so I am sure the staff can work it out if guys transfer

I agree with those who point out we haven’t had good QB play under Miles, with a few exceptions, so we are now reaping what Miles sowed. I hope we get Burrows even if we lose a QB to transfer. We have to change the QB/offensive culture that was formed over a ten year period. This isn’t an easy transition to make. I hope O and E can do it.

Our QB s suck arse.
They don't suck arse. They just aren't ready at this point. It is very rare for qbs to be ready to compete in the SEC as sophomores. For decades, qbs didn't even get an opportunity until junior and senior years, and that was for a reason. Brennan is going to be a big time qb at some point. It might take 2 or 3 full years to develop though. Lowell maybe too, but far too often inaccuracy just is never fixed in qbs.
