Bodacious BBQ on Barksdale Blvd. by the AF base. That’s my uncles place.
Lockhart's in Dallas is great. Their brisket and Cajun turkey is some of the best I've ever had. Their mac and cheese will put you in a food coma.

Stay away from Country Tavern, Rudys,Pat Gees(has a cult following), Bodacious(Longview joint is legit sometimes). Folks who voted this don't know Texas bbq. I forgot about Hutchins, it's the real deal too. I don't make a trip West without hitting slow bone.
