Just a short time ago, Baton Rouge reporters were praising LSU's football fortune, praising the talent LSU was signing and bringing in this years class, while praising the upbeat attitude and unity among the entire players and coaches.

So, how is it that they can predict 5 losses now, its obvious these guys were clueless from the start. Maybe Baton Rouge reporters should just stick to something they know, like lady Tiger gymnastics.

LSU's offense couldn't lose 5 games this year, even if they tried. LSU defense would never allow it.

A loss to Miami and another bad loss within the following weeks could result in the wheels falling off pretty quickly. With Ed Orgeron as your head coach 7 wins is about normal to above normal.

Yet another troll post from you with implausible statements that nobody on the planet is truly dim enough to genuinely assert. I hope everyone upvotes you just to piss you off.

Such thorough analysis.

Not hard at all to get to 5 losses. We don't even have a definite QB for week 1 vs Miami. That's a 50/50 game. Auburn, UGA and Bama are losses. Throw in a patented Orgeron brain fart game and there you have it, 5 losses.

Have you seen the schedule? 4 top ten teams. We lost to Troy less than a year ago with a 5th year QB. We have no RB on the entire team who has ever scored a touchdown. We just lost one of our best OL to suspension. We have no experience at QB. None. Our receivers have never done much no matter how deep people say they are. The one WR who has experience didn’t have it here. On defense we have a ton of talent that is gonna be on the field a lot. A lot lot lot lot lot. We’ve got fat DL that may or may not make it all season due to being so overweight or injury prone. We have 1 corner that we know can play. After that we have hope. We have a head coach that the entire football universe makes fun of and a new OC that hasn’t OC’d since Clinton was getting his dick sucked in the Oval Office.

So basically that’s why people don’t respect us whether you’re from Baton Rouge or Honolulu. There is a lot of hope. There is a lot of potential. I for one cling to optimism but I’ve been disappointed a lot the past few years. So maybe they aren’t clueless but just realistic.

In the final analysis, LSU's coaches took several sure losses out of the equation in 2018 when they signed the top kicker and top QB transfer. Two or three losses maybe, but 5? Never!

Well I guess just about the entire college football world is clueless when it comes to LSU football then.

There are very few that have confidence in O and Steve E making LSUs offense a strength rather than a liability. They have to prove the doubters wrong but you can't blame people for being skeptical.

I'm not ready to predict 7 & 5. I've great hope for this club. A loss to Miami certainly would affect my thinking, but I'm still sky high until I can no longer be. Last season after Troy, I predicted 5 & 7, maybe 6 & 6. Glad I was wrong, and I learned a lesson.

Their reporting is all over the place concerning LSU football. Clueless seems the most appropriate term.
