Dude didn’t make the tournament with the #1 overall pick that was considered to be the next Lebron. That’s just about impossible and inexcusable.

True; but managing these type things falls squarely on the shoulders of the HC.
And that team had more than just Simmons. From a pure talent standpoint, that was one of the most talented rosters at LSU. Complete failure to not make the tournament.
