I went and did some digging on our friend bnfiii to try and find the root of his anger. Apparently he had a major boner for Tubby Smith when we hired Johnny. Below is a link to all of his posts on the subject. He was adament that Tubby would get us to the postseason and Johnny wouldn't.

Tubby was fired after Johnny's first at Minnesota and has been melting away in Lubbock, Tx ever since. Let's look at Tubby's record at Texas Tech.

jones is in no way, shape or form a better hire than trent was when he was hired here. johnson took two teams deep in the tourney. jones has only made the tourney twice in 11 seasons.

Look I don't know if JJ will succeed here or not, but what I do know is he continues to improve each year he is here and unlike another coach we might have hired, HE WOULD NEVER LEAVE IF AND WHEN HE DOES SUCCEED. All I say is get behind a TRUE TIGER and don't have a want for him to fail like bfnii does. After all this has been uncovered I would truly be surprised to see him again until an ugly SEC loss.

Well, if you're not going to bother doing the analysis correctly, then don't bother doing it at all. It's not that hard. You should take a look at all teams' games between now and Saturday (inclusive), predict the outcome of each game, then provide our anticipated RPI movement. Of course, it would be necessary to lay out all of your predictions so that we can all scrutinize and poke holes. Your effort left me very disappointed.
