What? None of his recruits have played one minute at St. Johns. He has a solid recruiting class signed, but that's it. He also walked into a situation that was much more stable than LSU when Johnson walked in.

All I was saying was that a kid being a freshman is no excuse for being this bad. Programs can dominate the country with really good freshman, but LSU can't even stay within 20 of Alabama? These are the kids has he recruited for 2 years and they can't even pass or dribble. I'm tired of the "they're only freshman" this isnt football, kids "can" go from highschool to the NBA, we should be able to get some that can go to shitty SEC West basketball right out of highschool ,thats not asking much, I'm not even asking that they win a lot, just fricking keep it respectable. This is not about the kids, its about who is teaching them simple arse fundamentals that they lack.

Trent walked into a team that had now 3 NBA players and an ALL-Sec player in Tasmin Mitchell. Now they didn't have much behind that but that's where the comparison is perfect. Lavin will have great players coming in immediately, Trent not so much.

Yes it is when your upper class men are mediocre at best.

Freshmen can fill holes in a veteran team and have success. In almost every instance, freshmen cannot be relied upon to lead the team.

I want you to go back the vault of last year and watch UNC's freshmen class. They had four or five five-star players on that team after they lost Hansborough, Lawson, etc.

They only made the NIT. If UNC cannot win with four or five elite freshmen, we are not going to win with three pretty good freshmen.

They had 43RB to our 24. Bad! That included only 8 O rb's for us to their 20. Thats a big reason we lost along with being not so good.
