I'd bet Ole Miss comes to BR and season ticket holders are told to use Florida tickets for entry.

I can definitely deal with that. Hoping for an additional home game and Ole Miss is suddenly rattling off some wins.

Yeah id love that too. Especially after tonights win. Theyll be at least a quad 2 for us. Hell, lets go play them there.
I also think wade really wants us to play them because he thinks its a matchup advantage

Won’t be Houston. They just got a game against Wichita St scheduled for Thursday night.

It’s a long shot; but Houston could still be a possibility if they wanted to play us Tuesday and then turn around and play again Thursday.

Just looked at the schedules for this coming week on ESPN app. Another possibility is maybe West Virginia?

They would fit the profile of being a lock as a Q1 game no matter where the game is. They were scheduled to play Baylor this week; but appears that has been postponed.

As a side note, I didn’t realize Baylor has been struggling with Covid so much. They haven’t played since 2/2.

Good catch. Reading will’s quote from after the game, it sounds like there will be a game for us during the week. West virginia would be a nice surprise. Im expecting ole miss or miami

Did he happen to mention when the "deadline" is for the SEC to schedule a game? In other words, what day can Wade know for sure that the SEC is not going to schedule a game?

Didnt hear a deadline. But early last week he said he had a call schedule for last thursday morning with the sec to figure it out. If they havent announced anything yet, that tells me we may not get the SEC game. But who knows

The Ole Miss game got moved up when Mizzou had to postpone if I remember correctly.

Yep, but he said later in the presser that it “will be a quad 1 game.” And he said it pretty definitively. That’s why I was thinking Houston initially, which is still a long shot possibility.

Ole Miss (if played at LSU) wouldn’t be a Q1 and neither would Miami (at either location); so I’m thinking it isn’t either one. Also seems like if it were an SEC matchup that he’d at least said it would be an SEC team; but that’s just speculation.

WVU is the only school I could find on the ESPN schedule that would be a definite Q1 game (no matter location) and doesn’t currently have a game scheduled.

Why not just go play at Ole Miss again? Would that be Quad 1?

Well if we went to ole miss again, that would be qud 1, so i think that or wvu are possibilities.
Thinking about it more, i could definitely see us going to houston too on tuesday. A tuesday road game would be better for us than wednesday, allowing is to get back early enough to prepare for next saturday.

It would; but just can’t see LSU/Wade agreeing to do that. Plus if they play them or any other SEC team, then it would be something the SEC office arranged and I don’t think they would schedule it that way. But I could certainly be wrong. JMO.

What does Houston have to gain? A home loss would bump them off the 2-line. They don't really have a chance to be a 1-seed, do they?

Also, traveling to Houston might not be super easy on Monday or Tuesday, with all the weather going on.

Agreed. I don't see them scheduling a team to play at Ole Miss twice in the same season.

Houston could see it as a chance to get a 1 seed.

I could see it if wade agreed to it. And if wade feels he has a matchup advantage, i could see him being okay with it.
But i would think an sec matchup wouldve been announced by now
