Plus the pmac is too big. Take out a couple thousand seats in a new arena

You're right.
I went to Humphrey Coliseum, Starkville last year and last week. The Hump's seating capacity is 10,500. It's also designed so the upper level is much closer (steep-sided, I don't really know how to describe it to those that have never been) to the action. It has a more "intimate" feel for want of a better word.
They only had a crowd of 5,500 last week, but it felt and sounded like the place was full. Acoustically it seems to capture a lot of crowd noise.
By contrast the PMAC is huge (capacity of 13,200!) and the seats feel too spread out. The upper level is too far away from the lower levels.

Are you the black girl with the crazy hair wig that's at every game? Only reason I ask is because she's about the only female I've ever seen that's as passionate as LSU Basketball as you.

Nope, not her.
But I do stand up yell, and cheer, and I HATE the people who leave 2 minutes early every game, even if we're tied, down 1, or up 1. It's not like there's gonna be a huge traffic jam after a bball game.
I am passionate about LSU basketball. My husband used to play here in the 70's for Dale's Hustlers.
I've only been here for 5 years, but my husband's dedication has rubbed off on me.

The band needs to be removed from the lower section and given a smaller role in the games. I have no problem with them playing when the team runs onto the court before the games but for the team to warm up for 5 minutes to the band sucks and is kind of embarrassing. The pmac needs to play some hip hop and get the atmosphere going because everyone seems half asleep at timeouts listening to the band every single time. I love the band at football games but it's a different setting and they don't fit.

Middle aged white people buy tickets. Middle aged white people don't want to listen to non stop rap.

If you're talking about black girl alone that sits on lsu side baseline she's a few rows in front of me. We have an unspoken bond of not leaving each other hanging even when only ones yelling

Bob says no because it doesn't sound good.

Explain to me why HBCUs play it, then.
