Jefferson's Three Most Recent Games
Rush: 600 yards (4.55 ypc)
Pass: 596 yards (9.46 ypa)
Total: 1,196 yards
Lee's Three Most Recent Games
Rush: 498 yards (3.80 ypc)
Pass: 444 yards (7.53 ypa)
Total: 942 yards
It would be much more fair to compare JJ's first three games last year vs Lee's first three games this year.

hard to tell this year because of schedule disparity, but Arky's defense wasn't anything to write home about last year. MSU was ranked about 25 spots higher in Scoring Defense last year. Arky was a few spots higher in Total Defense, but only by 9 yards per game...

See, I can play that game too.

Much more fair.
But that destroys his argument.

He doesn't have the ability to be impartial in this discussion.

In what ways is it more fair?

I would say that most of the posts in this thread read as though they were written by adults having a rational discussion.
Your post...not so much.
you call creating a controversy during the season...rational?...you are a bigger idiot than I thought..

First three games of the season? You cant compare a QB who wasn't even the starter a week before the season to one who played an entire season. It's much more favorable to compare apples to apples than apples to tangerines.

Lee has plenty of experience with the first team. He also had the benefit of an extra off season and a simplified offense. I think it is better to compare how the offense ended last season and how it starts the next season. Especially a team that is returning a lot of starters.

Comparing a QB at the beginning of a season and the end of a season is kind of silly, but people are going to pick an choose the games they want, regardless.

Compare Jefferson's last three games with Lee's last three games
JJs last 3 games: 2 wins, 1 loss
JLs last 3 games: 3 wins, 0 losses
Unless you want to go back to their 1st three games of each year? But of course you dont want that either.
Check and mate.

You think a random guy posting in an online thread that was started by someone else is "creating a controversy during the season"?
And I'm the idiot?

I could understand if Lee was younger or had never started. I could understand if we were completely changing the offense or breaking in a lot of new srarters. None of those things are true though.

Don't be a fool. There aren't enough teams to arrive at that figure. We're either the best team or we aren't in the top tenth of a percentile.
