I'm willing to bet that there's more lsu wardrobes in the usl closets than actual usl Students/alum gear

Yeah I mean Jones is a good coach and has done a good job there but they really lack elite talent right now (especially on the mound). Like I said, he get a little spooked after being hit hard by the MLB draft and focused on signing a large volume of kids who had no change at being drafted. He did this out of necessity because it had gotten to the point where there was nothing left. A small private school like Tulane can't afford to lose 5-10 kids to the draft because they don't have large recruiting classes to begin with. These freshmen are starting more out of necessity (and doing a pretty solid job) than anything else. These are the kind of kids that would be stuck on the bench on most Tulane teams from the 2000-2008.

nearly took 2/3 from Rice and Ole Miss

uhhh no.

They lost 6-4 and 5-1 to Ole Miss before winning the Sunday game.

They scored 4 late runs against Rice in an 11-8 loss and then were destroyed 19-1 on Sunday. They had a comeback 9th inning win in the Friday night game which prevented it from being a sweep. This is a very average Rice team, fyi.

They also have 2 losses to UNO , a loss to SLU, a loss to Marshall, and a loss to South Alabama.

I want the Tigahs to score some more runs. Can we carry any of them over to the weekend? I think we're gonna need them!

I'm wondering where Dean will be placed in the draft. Can he do better than a 5th? Hes older and hes not improving on last year so far...don't see his stock going up as of now.

He started slow last year too....he came on when the team needed him. Hopefully he will do the same this year

I'm still of the opinion that the worst thing Tulane ever did was leave the SEC...

He starts slow every year. I'm not saying hes in a big slump...I just don't see him increasing his stock. I thought it was kinda surprising he came back this year.
