Just got in from the Box.
Maineiri let Alsup pitch to get his confidence back. That said, the two fly balls to Landry were deep, but outs. Bradshaw didn't blow the lead, but went to 3-1, 3-2 on several hitter -- made things interesting. Matulis didn't look as sharp as the last game. (Too many walks.) Home plate ump sucked. Brown players were watching from the concourse, or else in the far LF corner with the Pepperdine fans (all 6 of them.)

I'll be kind of disappointed if we can't beat Brown, they haven't even played yet this year

The guys from brown were nice. It seemed that they were taking it all in
