I am pretty sure that Moore's avg against LHP is actually higher than his avg against RHP.

Let Mainieri know then

Coach should already know this. I am not bashing him, just saying that he sat Moore in favor of Edward and it did not pay off today. Moore is excellent at 1B and he's won the position regardless of the pitcher IMO.

Moore looked lost vs the lefties yesterday. im guessing that is why he sat today. i think he K'ed all 3 times

Most of the team looked lost yesterday. I think Moore was 0 for 3 with 2 Ks, but he homered off a lefty on Friday.

Just saying Fields (although a tough weekend) is proving himself.

Fields needs to stay in the lineup at this point for sure.

One more guy to step up would make this team pretty darn tough.

I wish Jacoby could get it going.

He struck out twice Saturday but he also misplayed a foul popup in the first inning that contributed to UK scoring 2 runs after LSU scored 1 run in the top of the first. In the radio pregame show today, PM specifically mentioned that play as an example of our poor defense yesterday.

Russian, I am not coach bashing--some may be--but not me. But I want to know what you think about today's lineup. Are we better with Katz at 1B and Edward in RF or Moore at 1B and Katz in RF? I say the latter.

But Moore looked pretty pitiful hitting and fielding on Saturday.

I don't disagree on that. But long term, which lineup do you think is better? You don't shuffle a lineup because of one game IMO.

I like Moore on first and Katz in RF.

I say Edward against Left handed pitching. It's an easy decision for me.

Gotta love the message board coaches. I can't think of a less qualified group to be giving their opinions on what the lineup should be.

Isn't this what fans do? Do you think every thing the coaches do is correct?

I would rather Katz at first and foster in left against lefties

I can appreciate that decision. I just think Moore has more upside than Edward. Just my opinion though and I am just an unqualified message board coach.

I question a bunch of decisions by Mainieri. One is, why is Rhymes not batting third? Usually your best hitter is in the third hole, for more reasons than one.

But of course, I'm no college coach.
