Did not have sitting Kling on my bingo card.

But this does give Brown some in game experience at the position should Kling ever go down with injury.
Brown may not have to wait for Kling to go down with injury to wind up in CF. He could straight up hit him out of the lineup. I know Jay wants Kling to keep the CF job--hell, we all want Kling to keep the CF job--and he'll be given a pretty long leash, but he is prone to long slumps, and his defense isn't so superior to Brown's that you just automatically write him onto the lineup card if he's in a funk at the plate.

He hit a double yesterday
You should watch the scene from Little Big League where Billy gets excited about Ronnie getting a hit. That's what you sound like
He is trying to fill shoes that are nearly impossible to fill and it looks like he's pressing. He needs to sit and calm down

I'm surprised to see Brown in CF over Bingham. I figured Bingham's experience would slot him there over a freshmen if Kling has to come out the lineup.

Someone asked if Milan emerging made Pearson the odd man out and I definitly thought Kling better start hitting.
But what is surprising is Brown in center field over Bingham who started 2 years there at Arizona
But Brown is an athlete and I assume he has a monster arm being a pitcher at well

Yeah, Brown's a much better athlete than Bingham. If Kling is out of the lineup for whatever reason, it'll be Brown in CF.

I think Jay is letting Bingham get settled into left field because he expects him to play there more than centerfield.
