this is what i was trying to say. and im not trying to talk shite at all, bc everyone loses a series and lsu is still the favorite to bring it home in omaha. and i dont follow college baseball enough to even be able to talk shite.

i'm almost waiting for the post that says "well this is Kansas world series, their season is made now because they beat LSU"..because thats what they say about every mid week game.

well if they are playing stetson, then i could buy it. but a major conference team isn't gonna feel that way.

Kansas played very well, indeed. LSU lost to illinois last year and KU is way better than them. Think of them like a Kentucky or Alabama that just happens to be in another conference. They made the tournament last year. They challenged us, played better, and beat us.

Kansas is a damned good team this year and the Hogs were able to destroy the shite out of them recently. Kansas won the series on your turf this weekend so it is what it is. That being said...NO ONE would dispute how good LSU is! LSU has 6 National Titles and they have my complete respect as a program. I watched LSU beat the Hogs' arse in Omaha last year and could not remember the last occasion I had seen so many dings come my way in the outfield
Arkansas can be very good this year if middle relief comes through for us and I look forward to the series next weekend. Yes it sucks to lose(sds) but it should be a great matchup!

Hell, Illinois did it last year, and they are no where near as talented as KU

It is not how you start, but how you finish. Remember 2 years ago with the win streak.
If pitching doesn't come around and we only make the tournament and not CWS, I will not go postal.
The next year with the young talent we have and JUCO's, we will be tough to beat. We need a pitcher to step-up.
HOWEVER, if we win 2 of 3 in conference and play great at the end of the season, that is all I can ask for. That's all Bertman ever asked for and look what it did for his teams.

and i'm talking about baseball while watching college basketball...Im only allowed to watch one sport?

If I'm not mistaken, Kansas came in several years back and took 2 outta 3. I wouldn't panic... but we do need a healthy A.R.

Face it LSU will be playing in june kansas will be home watching espn, its only march guys,hell we lost to nicholls last year.
