You say that as a joke, but actually it has alot of merit to it. We're looking at the probability of getting swept in a DH and our best pitcher never saw the mound. I know a closer's role is situational, but we don't have good enough pitching to use Ott that sparingly.
In my opinion, it's time to take the "closer" title off of Ott and get him more innings.

Coach was right about the recruits should not be allowed to wait till the 1st day of school to make a decision to sign with the majors. When I think about it, we have the #1 signing class often and I am sure all the SEC and other schools like the fact that we lose great players late and have to have a backup plan to sign players.
