With the wind blowing 30 mph, we should be able to make a valiant comeback...would be nice if we had more than 1 hit to go with the 4 walks

What did I say that isn't true? Are you saying that if we were in a game 3 in a super regional or CWS, that you would have faith in him? He is not reliable enough by a long shot. Wish he was but he isn't

LOL. I still think we win the series.

What was I wrong about?

Ranaudo is NOT a true ACE pitcher. OM has one. And he's up 6, maybe more.

We still win tonight and tomorrow.

I agree... Has every run been scored via HR so far?

All except one. One scored on a dbl and a single.

If you guys are really giving up on game 1 because it's 8-2, then ya'll need to quit watching LSU baseball forever. Ole Miss' ace is going to be knocked out of this game by the 6th inning at this rate, the wind is pouring out. We're one hit away from this lead only being 4. It's not like this team hasn't come from behind to win any games this year.

Just because I hate being the last post on a page.

All 3 UM homers were cheap wind aided hits. Trust me I'm in rf watching it. If we get a couple ourselves we're right back in it. Settle down guys.

LSU will be fine. You don't win games in the 2nd inning.

He's very hit or miss. He looked bad in the CWS against UVA and Texas. Didn't even look like a second starter in those games. However, in the regional he looked lights out against Baylor (now of course they were hitting like .270 as a team). It seems to me that he feasts on subpar competition and more often than not he comes out shaky vs the good teams. He needs command of his pitches to succeed against the good teams and he rarely has that.

You're an idiot!

And Ole Miss' ace will have to be pulled by the 6th inning unless he finally starts pumping strikes (which he could with the lead now). LSU has sent 11 batters to the plate in the first two innings.
