Seriously, what is the deal with Sciambra. Why does he play? Shouldn't your outfielders be able to swing a bat? Is it just bad luck, needs to do what he does in practice? What gives.

Mainieri said in pregame he wanted to improve the infield defense by bringing Jones back in place of Yocom, and he thought Sciambra and Jones was a wash in center anyway.
We aren't going to score much anyway, might as well improve the defense as much as possible.
