Things are lining up for a run at #7!

Baseball 2023 - Omaha bound!

If you read and enjoy, I'd like to ask for some help. I would very much like to write a book chronicling next year's run to Omaha. Rather than just a recap of the season, I would like to give an "inside baseball" type view, complete with insights from coaches, players, etc.

I have no access to LSU - if anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate any advice.

I think we have the best team on paper this year. Hopefully we can put it all together

Worried we still don’t have enough depth for pitching… I hope I am wrong.

Tennessee is going to have without a doubt better starting pitching but I can only think of 2-3 other teams that will be as well rounded as this team on paper.

Good luck with your project. Not sure if it'll get you anywhere or not, but you could start by contacting the secretary for LSU Baseball to see if she could point you in the right direction. LSU Athletics website has her contact info:

Appreciate it - as good place to start as any.

Really hope we develop an ace. At least one, two would be real nice.

You've come to the right place. The rant will give you all the information and drama you can handle

We should have plenty of depth. It’s the top end that has to take big steps up and develop. But baseball is a crazy sport as we saw with Tennessee this year. Or the fact that the #1 seed hasn’t won it all since ‘99. I absolutely love the idea of this project, chronicling next season. I’d be afraid of jinxing it myself. But I’m a former baseball player, and even in my 40s, I’m still irrationally superstitious.

Don't we have the best pitching coach in the country? He'll figure it out
