An article says he was committed to Oklahoma State. Didn't he initially commit to LSU?

He’s been committed to Okie State for awhile now. I’m not sure if he was ever committed to LSU.

Yeah he was never committed to LSU. I would like to know if they offered tho. Hate seeing hometown talent leave the state.

I believe Texas A&M has a catcher from Barbe (Courville) committed in a future class that LSU still might have some interest in

Courville committed to A&M as a freshmen. I know his family. Seems like a pretty firm commitment IMO.

Better game was the 2019 state semi final game between Barbe and Sam Houston 9 or 10 inning game with Barbe’s Jack walker pitching a one hitter. Barbe walks it off in extra innigs to advance to finals. That game should have been the state championship game
