It's the way people from Louisiana are. You could NEVER understand. They have a passion for all things that involve food and getting drunk as frick.

Fixed it. I wish they had a passion for cleaning up the corruption in this state.

ahh ite... It's time to light the grill and get the process of making the best steak I can now. I've been preparing it and marinating it to the best of my ability, now's the time to see if it can cook to its potential.

Yall have a groovy one and catch yall after the game! Roll Tide!

I have lived here in the Mobile area for 19 years and as a general rule - Bama fans and class - should never be used in the same sentence unless the word LESS is tagged on.

Being in the state of Alabama I have really come to dislike their fanbase because they really believe they do everything better than everyone else and they think they have more class than any other fanbase. They have made such a big deal out of the "burning Saban" deal last night, and called it classless. I may not have liked it, but its a bunch of 18yr old college kids having fun. To think that you are somehow better than someone else based on that is stupid. I couldn't understand "some" of the hatred between Bama and Auburn fans but having witnessed this "better than thou" attitude from Bama fans its easy to really dislike these gumps.

I live on a street with almost all bama fans. They are not bad. LSU just tend to be drunker more drunk. That is just Louisiana. As soon as you walk into anybody's house they offer you a drink...9:00am 2:00pm whenever. They drink and eat a lot. Hug a lot. it is nothing about class. they are just passionate about life in general, and football in particular.

I knew quite a few really good guys from Alabama when I was in the military. Funny that not one of the guys I knew ever talked crap face to face the way some of you do on this board. Only punks talk crap over a message board.

I never disliked Bama fans until these boards got started and all the inbred idiots came out of the closet. Some of you clowns are the biggest morons I see on any boards anywhere. You're not funny and no one here likes you. Go back to your own board if you can find it.

I feel the same as you. I live in Fairhope Al just across the bay from you. But I lived in New Orleans for 13+ years. And I never saw a bunch of fans in my life as rude as LSU fans.
All fans think the other fans suck this is college football.
The only thing I agree with you guys about is lets go SAINTS( I was born in Metairie and been a Saints fan even before the Tide came into my life.

Africon, An 18 year old in college is not a "kid" anymore, they should be an "adult" and act as such. You really do not know anything about Bama fans. Do you know even one?

I teach at a middle school in Mobile, AL, and let me tell you ... I am not looking forward to walking in front of a bunch of BAMA eighth graders tomorrow.

Except for one thing ... I told them (and my friends at church) two weeks ago that I did not expect LSU to win this game. Based on 1)QB play, 2) Coach who will not pull poorly performing players, and 3) Nick Saban will be on the other sideline.

I have no bones with Nick except this one ... I never was nervous when Nick coached LSU until his last year. BAMA now has that confidence that comes from Saint Nick. Props to him .. that son-of-a-gun can coach.

I am not a negaTiger, just a realist. Why SmackTalk when you may just have to eat your words? LSU cannot back up any smack talk on the field this year.

Very easy morning at church today. Told all my BAMA friends that it was a good game and life moved on as normal. You give compliments to your opponents where appropriate -- you enjoy a good game and go on.

The SEC has back what it as needed for a long while ... a strong Alabama team. I used to cringe in the 80s when the scoreboard in Death Valley said "BRING ON BAMA!" BAMA is STILL not to that level of play but they are getting there. I am in their state and I am happy for them. Let them put some crystal in Tuscaloosa. We have two ... it's cool.

Tomorrow, do I expect a bunch of "class" from 8th grade pre-pubescent boys and girls? Nope. Are they indicative of the entire BAMA nation? Nope. But, I preach to them the necessity of being gracious in winning and losing. That is where CLASS is born.

Sportsmanship ... it is almost as dead as chivalry. We have become so rabid as a society of sports fans that winning is more important than decency and sportsmanship.

I cannot speak for either the TIGER or TIDE nation but, at my house, we still worship GOD and watch football ... not the other way around.

Have a good one, guys and ladies,

I'm an LSU fan, and my Bama friend came to the game with me yesterday. I have tickets in the student section, so I made her sit with me there. Most of our fans were fine, but I just don't understand why some people have to act like complete idiots. After we blocked the field goal, some girl got in her face and screamed "frick You Alabama", a guy grabbed her arms and started yelling in her face, and some moron tried to throw his drink at her, but ended up spilling it all over his friend.

The game hadn't been won yet, so it was stupid to act like we had just beat them. I don't understand why people have to act like that. I know yall are going to respond that she was asking for it, but 95% of the students were fine. Tigerbaiting is fine, but there's no reason for a guy to physically grab a girl that they don't know. People like that are the reason we have a bad reputation, when almost everyone else acts great.

I always hear about how terrible LSU fans are. But between trips to the Swamp with Florida fans, the pricks that sat behind me from Tennessee in Atlanta last year, and the jerkoff this year that wanted to fight me in Auburn because I was "too close" to his car in a traffic jam trying to get out - my head is spinning from all the "class" I experienced there.
