Campbell plans to announce his college decision at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl January 3rd in San Antonio, Texas. He traveled to Tuscaloosa for the first time and went away impressed with the nation’s top ranked team.
"It was the first time I had ever experienced anything like that before," Campbell said. "I was real impressed. Everything was great. The one thing that impressed me the most was the Walk of Champions. That was really cool. They have all the fans cheering for the players before the game. I liked that a lot."
Campbell isn’t ready to name an overall favorite, but Alabama opened a door to become player for his signature.
"It’s a nice place," he said. "They have a great fan base because of no pro [professional] teams. The fans were great. They have a nice coaching staff down there. I like the strength and conditioning coach. Coach Saban is a great coach. You can tell by his past and what he is doing now."
