Bama's renderings of revamped BDS. Could Tiger Stadium see similar future renovations?

We just recently had a thread about a trend of reducing capacity as a trend in college football. Bama's plan includes ripping out a huge chunk of one of their end zone upper decks that they just added in 2010. It's interesting that even Bama, who should have no problem selling tickets, sees less value in the upper deck seats at this point. This might be a glimpse into the future projects Tiger Stadium as well.
And I know this thread will turn into a pissing match "frick Bama, who cares, whats this got to do with LSU, belongs on SEC Rant". But since stadium expansion/renovation is every bit a keeping up with the jones act, this might be a chance to discuss potential features we could see in Tiger Stadium.
LINK
Big change is splitting that upperdeck in half and adding a club or whatever type level that is. Look at the jackasses playing cornhole during a football game
On the corners of that end zone where the two video boards are now, they're doing loge box suites
Field level club behind the North endzone
Exterior renovations include removing the spiral ramps and adding a new glass facade to both sides of the stadium. From what I've read from Bama fans, the glass sides are as controversial to them as the West Side and South facades are to LSU fans. At least theirs matches
As it relates to Tiger Stadium, the field level suites would be a cool idea, though I don't know that theres any existing space underneath stands to do a club like that. The corner loge boxes are interesting. The new open level in the upper deck is...strange. It's innovative. A new way to get people to want to sit up there and let's face it...draw more money. Not sure I like the look though. Also, the Soldier Field looking exterior siding is awful.
Sorry for the length of the thread....I like facilities discussions

With no students going to games now, I actually love the idea of putting a massive scoreboard up and making a terrace that will provide improved food/drink options
You can laugh but it's a lot better looking than empty seats due to students watching the game at Tiger land

Wasn’t Tennessee one of the first teams in the SEC to reduce stadium seating or something?

Alleva was probably more forward thinking with what he did in the South expansion. Rather than putting a huge upper deck up there with a bunch of empty seats.
I look at that behemoth end zone deck Aggie did and it's almost always got huge swaths of empty seats up there. Bama certainly has the money to do it, but ripping up that upper deck 8 years after they put it in is a bad look.

They can add as much stuff to the stadium as they want. It won’t make Tuscaloosa any lees of a shithole.

A huge 4K board like that is a great recruiting tool. Recruits love seeing themselves on those things.

Which board should I talk about potential Tiger Stadium renovations on?

Why is this relevant for the Tiger Rant?

Lord.
If you had actually read the thread, rather than just get triggered by the title and rush in to post "OMGAH WRONG BOARD" you'd see the point of the thread is to discuss future renovations to Tiger Stadium.
A rival university, in the same conference, with a similar sized stadium and a similar budget is downsizing and making wholesale changes to the in stadium game experience. In my opinion, any future major renovations to Tiger Stadium will be along these same lines of adding amenities and enhancing the experience of the stadium beyond just the game. The idea of the thread was to show what Bama is doing to their stadium as a template for what LSU could potentially do to theirs.

I see what you’re saying 100%. People get sooo triggered by anything Alabama. You have good points about similar size and budget. I think they give the current stadium a few more years to see where the program is. If we are still relevant or even on the cusp of a championship in a few years then I say we revamp it.
I don’t see them raising the money to do anything even remotely close to what bama is doing unless the future looks bright.

I changed the title. I think too many were reading the title and getting triggered rather than reading the content of the post.

Yeah that's true. No doubt Bama's run of success has awarded them the financial strength to be able to do this while LSU is in a position of more uncertainty and unhappiness from the fans. Any renovation will be several years down the road.
More broadly speaking and we discussed it in a thread you were in the other night, you're seeing more and more that the stadiums are adding amenities to compete with people staying home to watch on tv. Like it or not, it's about providing more than just a seat to watch a ball game now.

LSU can still put suites around the bowl in the south end zone. They can stack them there and just not do any cheap bleacher seats like they did in the north end zone.
