the main issue with the running game was the inability to convert 3rd downs, they had some good runs on 1st and 2nd

what you take from the article is LSU can run the football and stop the run on defense. therefore, you will be a SUPERIOR football team. also, we miss TM7 ability to strip ball (micah eugene has a couple of sacks and makes no effort to get ball) and we miss TM7 punt return ability.
we expected to have TM7 on team and it takes time to adjust to him and faulk not being here.

I read most of posts on the first few pages. Only one gives credit to LSU for being a capable team. All the others say we are doomed or we better straighten our "issues" out before November 3. bammers really haven't proven themselves either, it's absolutely laughable that they think they have the season locked up.
