I think LSU's offense can move the ball on Bama. They won't light up the scoreboard but I don't expect a repeat of 1/9.
Bama doesnt have a great pass rush this year so our tackles may not be exposed as much as they have been this year.
There has to be open WRs out there. Tennessee had open WRs against 2 deep coverage several times. LSU will see a lot of 1 safety looks with the other in the box to support against the run. Bama completely sold out against the run on 1/9. Les and Stud have to take some shots down the field early.
Limit penalties and win the turnover battle and I think LSU takes a close one. TS crowd will be a huge factor.

Why are you always mad? I don't think I've ever read anything you've written where you weren't pissed off at something or somebody. This is just LSU we're talking about. I'd hate to see what you do with real life problems...

Why do any of you watch games? Honestly. If you think they suck bad enough, then don't watch. All of you sound like they're 1-7 and Auburn Scared to death of Bama. Scared like babies. I don't understand it. If you don't think the players want this game more than any other game on the schedule, then you want to do nothing but complain. That's your MO. THAT'S what makes you happy.

Well stated.

He didn't exactly build 'Bama or LSU.

Saban's LSU cupboard had players who had experienced 10 and 9-win seasons. 'Bama was only one year removed from a 10 win season.

No doubt that Saban is a successful recruiter and coach, but he's not football Jesus.

I believe quite a few Rantards would perform fellatio on Saban if given the opportunity.

Any team can lose on any given day, even the very best team, that why it is called an upset.

Bunch of baby back bitches up in this thread. Absolutely no one thought that Jordan Jefferson would go 10/13 for 141 yards 1 td in 2010. No one thought that on nov 5 we'd have a far better rushing attack and defensive game than bama. No one thought the worst team in recent lsu history would take an undefeated regular season crimson tide to OT and the only reason it got that far was because a redshirt freshman lee turned it over four times once for a td trying to do too much to help his team.

We have a damn strong defense. We have a damn strong running game. We are close to having a damn strong passing game. We have two weeks to prepare and we are at home. I ain't scared and I hope half the people in this thread ain't at this game because the players deserve fans who believe in them.

What makes you think Bama is so superior to LSU?

Of course, Bama is beatable. Bama is not a great team, but what they are proving is just how far playing near error-free football will take any team.

And the law of averages eventually catches up with everybody. The mistakes will come at some point. It could very well be in two weeks.

Bama is not the team they were last year but honestly, even if LSU shows up the way they did for S. Carolina (that was one of the best nights I've ever spent in the South End Zone) I still don't see the Tigers scoring enough to beat them.
