This is false, and there was no illegal block in the back on the LSU play either. Just a bunch of crybabies in both fan groups.

Yes the Bama players when being blocked out of the play were trying to get calls . They got one early in the game on a holding call on the corner . And got the flag when he threw his hands up . The Bama guy was actually holding the LSU player by the shoulder pad .

Two no-calls that could have been called and resulted in late go-ahead TDs. It's a wash.
A bigger question is if the Steen holding is called, do we ever get to OT. It was on 3rd and 10 play with 4:50 to go and LSU up 17-15. If called, it wipes out a TD and places Alabama with a 3rd and 20 from the Alabama 49. Except by way of penalty, Alabama had converted one 3rd and 10+ all game.
Assuming they don't pick up 3rd and 20, does Saban choose to punt with ~4:30 to go? Does he go for it on 4th down? Try a very long FG for the lead?
