Why don't you just yell louder to drown him out? Like the stadium did when the bama sections tried to start their little chant?
Sounds like you're the type that doesn't want anyone to stand up at any point to obscure your view so you can sit your 300 pound arse on your seat(s)

I'm friends with all of the event staff and medical personnel who man the portal I sit right next to. Most of the time when I've taken such action the event personnel told me they were only waiting for someone to complain that they were ready act on their own but only waiting for someone to complain and thanked me for doing so. Yes I do have a little power there but the thing you should always know about power is that the more you use it the weaker it gets. I think I've used it quite judiciously and it has been appreciated by my neighbors.

You approached him. He did not approach you to threaten you. IF he had a valid ticket for your section, he had every right to be there and he had every right to cheer for his team even if it was to your displeasure.
Just because you've been in the same section for 50 years Mr. Internet and Stadium Tough Guy, you're not always right and you're exhibiting massive amounts of douchebaggery.

Nope, not that guy. I stood most of the game myself. I'm the guy more likely to have someone ask to sit down but I'm always mindful of who's behind me because those are my seats so it never is an issue.
I stood the whole ATM game on the fourth row on the 20 yard line one section down from TGBFTL. My foot is still sore from balancing on those rickety-assed bleachers so no, not 300 pound guy here. Not even close.
