A player of the caliber of Jonathan Gray won't be affected by the crowd size at the Box. He's had dozens of professional scouts at each of his games this season to watch him pitch.

We'll see how he handles getting nailed by piss balloons from every direction.

Should we really be talking up Alex Box Stadium like this after just losing a super-regional just 1 year ago to Stony-Brook?

It was so intimidating, the winning visitors got to take a victory lap.

Well to be fair I think Stony Brook won over our fans as the cute little team that could and we lost that home field advantage we usually have (personally think that was BS but that is what happened).I think the fact that OU is more of a national powerful and is coming in with the perception as a bigger threat and especially now with the whole Grey Adderall cheating thing. The box should be electric and very loud.

Finally a person who makes sense. The kids who think that a sign listing all of LSU's NC's in baseball, parading a live tiger around a ball park, and the size of the stadium are full of crap. Yeah, the Intimidator did a good job of getting into the heads of the players for Stony Brook. Usually, the opposing team gets fired up by the antics that the home team displays. How many fans from Stony Brook were at The Box last year compared to the Tiger fans present? Yeah, crowd size, signs, and live tigers have a negative effect on the visiting team.
