DBU Class with Attitude 101
• Teach the Dbs how to be aggressive playmakers.
• Be the aggressor, not passive on the field.
• Instill discipline on the Dbs not going for the double moves by receivers. That happened way too much this past year, including the bowl game.
• Show them how to make open field tackles from various angles - high and low.
• More importantly, teach the Dbs how to turn their heads around to make a play on the ball while it is in the air.
- Dbs get beat badly when the back of their heads are facing the ball.
• By them playing with aggression and confidence and making stops, it may gradually bring back that ‘Old Swag of DBU’ over time.
