It is all good until key players start getting jacked up at practice and missing game reps for some minor issues. There is a reason why you can not go full bore at practice at this stage of the season. Bodies get tired, beat up, Bumps and bruises do not heal like they did at the start. There has to be a happy medium where development and toughness can meet. All of these kids are D1 athletes they know how to tackle, block, catch etc. I am not taking up for Kelly at all. But at some point these highly paid kids need to produce.

I agree with you.
We have two years of game film of how Baker can't scheme to stop a mobile QB, then the next week we watch other programs like Mizzou come in and stop the midget from Vandy.
The sooner I never see Baker or Nuss on the sideline won't be soon enough

I was willing to give Baker a pass last season...talent not up to par (Sage Ryan, Major Burns, etc), new to the team, etc.. But LSU loaded up on defense from the portal (I assume he Oked those guys) and the ONLY area improved was the secondary. DL IMO can't rush the passer and obviously can't stop him when a dual threat guy takes off and runs. Gooden, Payton, Pyburn, and Butler added from the portal. And remember the "Harold Perkins was just in the wrong position". Well, Harold Perkins picture is on a milk carton. So add Perkins to the Baker and Nuss no longer at LSU. That guy has been tried all over the field on defense and FAILS miserably at every one of them.
