Yep this has been mentioned several times. Lobbs them back. I believe Coach O also mentioned the need for improvement!

While I totally agree with your initial thought, I doubt backup center is the true backup center. Word was that Hines was practicing at center in fall camp as well as one other I can’t remember.

I may be wrong but I noticed in the last game it seems it is only when a run is called. If they are throwing the ball comes out clean.

I stated last night that Cushenberry is the 2nd most valuable player on the team. He goes down, we are fricked. Those awful snaps completely throw off a QB’s rhythm.

I think Hines can do the job just fine.

One advantage in getting a large lead is that the backup center, along with other reserves, can get some game experience.

These games are an opportunity to get the young kids some reps. Turner will definitely redshirt as he continues to put on weight. He's only like 270lbs. He will not be our back-up center by seasons end.

There is absolutely no reasonable excuse you can have for a collegiate center to have issues with snaps! If he was recruited and signed to play center, then by all means he should know how to snap effectively and consistently prior to stepping foot on a college campus.
