We lost numerous midweek games last year and almost won the CWS. Shut the frick up.

Maybe I didn’t hear it right. I thought they said he was their #2 guy. If he is their midweek starter then they must have a Florida type weekend rotation. His performance backed up his stats that he had coming into this game.

I never said he did start a weekend game. That’s not exactly how that works. Just like with LSU, weekend rotations are not always set this early in the year. Maybe they play tougher midweek games and need him for those.

Except he pitched Sundays all last year, and this year will be in the #2 slot once they get to conference play. They are pitching him midweek against LSU and ULL to give them their best shot at winning those games. It's worked.

In their conference preview it calls him a weekend starter. I don’t know why he’s been used the way he has this year. I haven’t followed them. I did see that he was the winning pitcher with 11 SO’s vs ULL which was the highest ranked team they played that week even though it was the midweek game. It would also make more sense to pitch one of your better guys vs LSU than against Sacred Heart or Toledo. Anyways, regardless of what title you want to give the guy, he can clearly pitch pretty well

And had a losing record. Quit making him out to be their ace because he is not. You must not be familiar with their current pitching staff.
