He, like Barash, wouldn't have played a big role on the team. they left and have done well at their new teams with a chance at regular playing time. If they were at LSU they'd be backup C and noncon bullpen arm. It's just a situation that worked out for them. He wasn't ever going to be a big part of LSU's pitching staff. Turnover happens in major programs, oh well. It's not LSU or CPMs fault even though you want it to be.

Also, who are the other 5? If you say Zardon killing it at NOVA CC I'm going to lose it.

Mitchell threw 101 pitches on Tuesday against Bama.

And again, if Barash has stayed, which wasn't best for him, we would not have recruited Pap and he would be the starter.

Dean
Godfrey
Zardon
Stone
Byrd

And no. Not killing it. Just said successful. Godfrey is also at a pretty shite school but he went starts without giving up a run. And had only walked 1 or 2 in those starts.

Which is interesting that they would start him today.

How can you use Byrd as one when he hasn't played a single inning at this new school? Guys succeeding at these lame CCs and ULM is no where near succeeding at LSU or more so in the SEC. You're trying to find more of a reason to trash Mainieri. There's really not much of an argument here.

He never pitched an inning while he was here. Are we really going to bitch about this?

It's a troll, Cub. Watching the world burn. Why else would I say for weeks that Auburn has a high school pitching staff then use Byrd as an example of players who are successful. Although you could argue that Byrd choosing to play for a decent team is a success in his eyes.

Ell you said you played college ball right? From your opinion on things I think you were that extremely annoying small lefty that came out of the pen barely hit 80 who everyone on the team couldn't stand to hang out with.
