That would be great for the rest of us so we don't have to read about more excuses for why LSU didn't have a functional QB this year. Bye.

Meanwhile, Miles has two four star quarterbacks and the starter had a 100 yard passing game against the worse defense in the SEC (His best game of the year, per Jennings). Let that sink in a minute!

You are so damn stupid. Marshall runs a spread read option system. He played at JUCO then came here and had 14 pass TDs in his first year. He also is a fifth year senior this year and has 4 very experienced WRs on his team. We have a true sophomore with 40 passes last year throwing to a WR squad with 8 receptions last year. None of our top 4 WRs had played JUCO the previous years either. How in the hell are the two even remotely similar?

Funny how his QB is a fifth year senior and he has 3 experienced WRs with a 5 star TE in his second year to boot. Again, did Cam not do the same thing last year? Talk to me in 2015 when he loses 9 starters on offense after this year. I might have to get off this board for a while because I am tired of reading these dumbass arguments that weren't thought out.

This^. Thank you for saving me from typing.

Nick Marshall will be a QB in the NFL, book it!

If he's around in round 3, I hope the Saints take him, he's a talent!

Holy frick we finished third in our division.

we were talking about 2013's offense.

Again, I wish nick Saban would lower expectations of his players like the rant does of Miles.

Holy shite this has t be a troll of anything the bar keeps getting raised in Miles' case. After 2007 it was, he'll never beat bama again and wont ever win the sec again.then lsu beats bama in 2010& 2011 and wins the sec title.

Somehow you leave out the fact that the QB responsible for that offense wasn't within 500 miles of BR on signing day as a freshman

He spent 3 years in the lsu program.

yea, this is pretty frustrating. No excuse for LSU's ineptness on offense for so long.

And let's be clear, 2013 is the exception, not the norm.

What? Hell no. He has never played under center, his mechanics are horrible, his footwork is worse than his mechanics, and he struggles with accuracy on deep throws and isnt that great at intermediate throws either. No way he takes 1 snap as a nfl starting qb

Our offense in 2006,2007,and 2011 were pretty good. Also in 2009 JJ had a higher passer rating than flynn did in 2007.

We are almost to 2015-and both QBs in these years were recruited and had been under an entire different system early in their career.

think about that

this the new company line? I mean while this may be true, it screams desperation. You cherry pick one year to compare to another so that you can add 2009 to your list of good LSU offenses.

You can try to mask it all you want, but it's not just this board who has noticed a bad trend. I live in Nashville, and have heard about LSU's struggles on offense for a long time from local radio.

Everyone sees it. Everyone knows it.

Nick Marshall holds the record for most passing touchdowns in Georgia prep history. He's not just a random DB that was stuck behind Center.

And to say that Malzahn didn't run the HUNH in 2010 is silly. Malzahn is the pioneer of the HUNH. That's like saying the Pope is not Catholic. The fact is that Auburn won the NC in 2010 with a subpar defense with only one playmaker (Nick Fairly), but absolutely the best offensive player that money could buy.

Flynn spent more time under Miles than Saban.

Its not a company line. Its what happened. I didnt cherry pic. We are talking about the play of lsu qbs. If you think Flynn was a good qb in 2007 then JJ was a good qb in 2009 because he had a higher passer rating than Flynn. Im not saying JJ was better, im only sayin we had decent qb play in 2009

Maybe you haven't noticed, but Auburn and LSU run slightly different offenses.
