The OP had a thread and what he says does make sense because the results are FACTS
Our 2 4-star QB's cannot hold Marshall's jock and yes they are young but held back with the offense, however Jennings is just not that good throwing the ball..
Oh yes and a 41-7 arse whipping they gave us this year, and our records are the same

Kiffin turned a junk running back into a sec west winning qb.

This is such a dumb statement. It's not like they just found a random DB that had never thrown a football and made him a QB. He's played QB his whole life outside of his small stint at UGA. He even threw for more yards in JUCO than Mett.

Miles does not sniff these other coaches you speak of. If you think about it, he brings nothing to the table. his alleged specialty of Oline annual underperforms. If we didn't have Cheif running defense, miles would have been gone long ago. Why would we get upset when instate guys like Dhaquille, Speedy, etc leave. Would you want to play for this goofball? As lsu fans, we must accept it. We have a medicore football coach with superior talent. Get ready for another 3 or more loss season next year.

And looking at the standings Auburn and LSU finished with the exact same record.
This is irrelevant to what he is trying to say. The reason for the record is Auburns defense. If they had LSU defense they win Nattys every year

Exactly!!! People keep asking what if Jennings was at Ohio state... When the real deal is what if JT Barrett was at LSU.. He'd still never see the field. Especially after losing to VT..
What if Clemsons freshman qb was here, he'd also sit behind Jennings..
We have those guys in Harris, but Miles can't put enough trust into a star freshman to let him work it all out

Exactly! People harp on how many fourth quarter comebacks that Miles has, but they fail to realize this is because he calls an absolute garbage game until the fourth quarter. Then he wakes up and says, hey this isn't working, I better change something up. Lets throw the ball

We scored SEVEN whole points on that shitfest defense... let that sink in for a momen
We improved. OL was a major problem early on, and starting Harris was the wrong move. Our problem is self destructing when we get near the endzone. We should have had another TD against Bama (penalty) and we should have had another two against Ole Miss (penalties and turnovers).
LSU was pretty bad on offense this year, I never stated differently. But to compare the situations like they are the same, is ludicrous.
We are young, they are old. Our offense is not a crazy HUNH, and I don't want it to be. All I really want, is a modern day pro style.

Might be better for you health if you stop trying to defend the indefensible. The gist of this thread and OP is spot on. If Saban can adapt, anyone should be able to adapt.
I'm sure Miles is a nice guy but I have never seen a more stubborn mule of a coach when it comes to admitting failure. His offense (or Cams) is medieval in relation to the rest of the SEC. Maybe a break from this board would be good for you.
Oh and take Les to the optometrist with you and have that myopia checked out while you're at it.

They scored 44 points at Bama's house with about the same time of possession advantage we held at Tiger Stadium. Remind me again how many points WE scored?
Ok so what? TAMU scored a bunch of damn points last year against them, and still lost. Everything isn't just offense. I'd like a capable modern pro style. You can have that shitty HUNH offense. If we faced them again with our run game and defense like it is now, they'd be lucky to score 20, while we'd run all over them. This is the same thing that happened last year, but in reverse order.

fricking upvote sir

And what's sad, Barrett is out for Ohio state and in comes the back up and they never miss a beat. As for bama, with all they lose on the offensive side of the ball this year, they will still be in the play off hunt next year, book it! That includes having a new QB with basically zero game experience!

No its not. both situations he named have senior qbs and very experienced skill players. How anyone cant see this is beyond me. Last year our offense was just fine.

I'll bookmark this post for next year. Bama loses nine starters on offense.

Malzahn is a very good offensive minded coach
Miles is not

He runs the same play 75% of the time.

He understands how to have an effective offense, he uses tempo and misdirection and the WHOLE FIELD to keep you guessing.
We run the ball up the middle 75% of the time. That is, if we can even get the snap off in time before the 40 second play clock runs out.
