LSU’s halftime show this week has been used four times
1. Partial show at the Southern game.
2. Full show at the Mississippi State Game
3. Full show at the Saints and Bucs game last Sunday
4. Auburn yesterday

Kind of appropriate to have a bull design on the field since the band has looked like BS all year. I mean, marching a straight line is NOT hard … fundamental band stuff. This iteration of TGBfTL cannot do it.

Frank Wickes had us learning new shows on a WEEKLY basis and we NEVER looked like this.

When we played Southern, the Tiger Band had a WHOLE SQUAD (4 members) out of position at the beginning of the show.

At the New Mexico game, when the band spelled “CONFIDENT” on the field, the player second from the bottom on the stem of the T was out of position by a full yard.

That is why most of the halftime shows they put on social media cut away from the mistakes. They will not own up to the subpar product they are fielding.

Oh, you’re talking about halftime,
Because I was really confused as well, who gives a crap about that

I was in the stadium and near the band and they were amazing last night, I didn’t even notice auburns band, Didn’t register for me at all

Auburn fans in front of us said they love watching our band

AU's band director is a Tiger Band alum and should've been on speed dial when LSU was looking to hire a new director for Tiger Band, but he never got a call.
After Wickes retired and Moorhouse left for Ilinois, LSU never conducted a national search to interview qualified candidates for the position.

It's been a steady stream of extremely lazy moving up the unqualified "Only Has High School Band Director Experience" assistant" to be the head Tiger Band Director. (All 100% due to the negligence of LSU DOB Damon Talley)

King, Ilinas and Jones all cut from the same tree and none should have ever been hired. (Ilinas was the better of the three, but left for the University of Oregon)

The entire program is suffering from weak leadership and is only a minor fraction of its former great self. It can be fixed, but only with the hiring of a great Director. (A marching band Saban/Kelly type)

Uhhh did you go to the game? Could not disagree more with your take. Golden band brought it last night

Agree, I was at the game and thought LSU band gave it their all!!! They were louder and sounded better than Auburn's band and were even louder than the piped in music. I kept saying the LSU band was the best unit of either team on the field! Highly impressed!
