Apparently, if you believe it
I mean if you let an LSU loss bother you and it changes your normal behavior then you probably need a real hobby.

I didn't mysteriously appear as you put it. But, that might be a reach for you.

BYU 2003

So in 2 years he took them from 102nd ranked to 14th ranked in YPG.. that is interesting.

judging from your avatar, sig, and comments in this thread, your expertise clearly lies on the basketball court.

GB, that was the defensive stats for BYU. That was yards/points per game allowed. I thought my explanation of the stats made that clear. Maybe I should go back and edit that again.
In 2004, Crowton's last year as HC there, the defense was worse than the year before he got there (2000).
Edit: It's OK, man, honest mistake.
I went back and edited the post. I put "Allowed" in the breakdown. Sorry about for the confusion.

Stats can be twisted lots of ways.. to take a disgruntled BYU fans prospective is kind of crazy.. should our offense be better sure... but to think this guy at BYU figured out a "trend" is ridiculous.. he is just pissed BYU did not score 100 pts and sucked during Crowtons tenure...and remember Crowton followed a legend in BYU Edwards was Head coach for nearly 30 years..BYU averaged 5 losses per year the 4 before Crowton was head coach.. also go back and look at all of BYUs numbers they were up & down with points just like Crowton for the 10 years before Crowton .Crowton left Oregon better than when he got there as far as the offense goes they were ranked 9th when he left and were 5pts/game better... Crowton did fine at LA Tech ..Crowton won a NC (not a split NC) at LSU.... so it seems to me he has been successful ...I am sure some Dolphin fan wrote a similar article on Saban that we can pull up.

LOT, please drop the unecessary bickering. I lobbied the Admins on the Help Board to get this thread unanchored. They obliged in keeping a fairly good thread you started from sinking to the bottom of the Rant Ocean. Let's not make them look foolish in that decision. I don't want to have to go back there and apologize for thinking my judgment was better than theirs.
That cool?

The scoring went down, I do not know if you looked at numbers wrong or what. The offensive yards per game also declined. So I am not sure why you are only focused on the 14 to 9 when everything declined.

great. so why don't you add to GC's 50k/yr pay increase by sending him a personal check since you feel he's done such an excellent job at LSU.
