Is it any different than when they parade Mike around the stadium and fans cheer and get fired up?

Yes, because you see, we're the LSU Tigers. Not the WarPlainsTigerEagleMen. Until AU can pick a mascot, they're just funny to me.

I was responding to the intelligent post about their fans masturbating to an eagle.

The only thing I thought was rather lackluster, is that terrible chant they do. I don't even know what it is, but it sounds like drunk gibberish.

Where they spell out Auburn or that "Aiii aiii aiii" [that's what it sounds like] song that they play all the time?

They had a few pissed off fans last nite, don't get me wrong. It's not like they didn't have a right to be pissed. I was with an Auburn coach that got told to frick off and had beer poured all over the hood of their car, by Auburn fans.

Overall it was a good experience though and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the stadium. The fans sitting around us were very polite even though there was a loud obnoxious LSU fan making it tough to be.

I also with the posters about the piped in music. It makes it feel less like a college game but it keeps the crowd active.

Did anyone else see the buses crash after the game? What a clusterfrick.

Maybe you were in a diff. stadium than I was. What I saw was pittiful. I'm pretty sure many Auburn fans had to go to the restroom to relieve themselves when that bird flew in. You are the Tigers, not the eagles.

I like it. Called home field advantage. I remember at the AU/FSU game in 1990 when FSU was becoming a powerhouse and going nuts over their tomahawk chant, the AU fans would start booing. Then the cheerleaders would start a chant or the AU band would crank up. It was absolutely awesome because it would drown it out completely. AU won in a truly great game on a last second field goal after sacking FSU for a 25 yard loss on fourth down with about 30 seconds left.

Also, like some one else said in another thread, I bet a lot of our players like to hear some of the rap music piped in at times.

AU band always tries to disrupt the opposing team's band. They do it at away games too.

I agree with this kid...Aweburnt's band should be pissed that they "pipe in" all that sound...they did it several times in the middle of their band playing a song. The only thing you can hear from those shitty arse speakers anyway is the bass

Piping in music is pitiful.

I'll ask again as I did in a previous thread...is "Calling Baton Rouge" or "La Saturday Night" not piped in music? So it's OK if we do it, but not if someone else does?

We do it in pregame before the band gets in. After that, our band takes over. They do it throughout the game, even while their own band is playing.
