Never been to Tuscaloosa, so i have no frame of reference. I'm just simply saying that the whole game day experiance there is fantastic. The scenery, the fans, the pregame. And most importantly, the way they handled a pretty damn heartbreaking loss. With class.

Why are LSU fans so insecure? I just don't get it. It's ok not to be a complete mindless homer. Geez

I do not get it either. I do not hear AU fans putting down LSU traditions or TS, but LSU fans come across as very insecure at times. I have been to Tiger Stadium many times to several big games that are listed in your top attendance games.

TS is not any louder than JH. I think JH may be louder but I was trying to be nice and it is tough to say for sure anyway. And when LSU had the ball last night and was ready to snap it, it was the roar of the AU fans that was so loud.

The only thing I thought was rather lackluster, is that terrible chant they do. I don't even know what it is, but it sounds like drunk gibberish.

To say that JH is louder than TS is blind homerism. (See what I did there?)

Yeah, I did see what you did, but I qualified my statement by saying that it is tough to tell and "may" be.

It was pretty good IMO. It doesn't have the local flavor like TS does, but those people love their football. I Have a newfound respect for them, but I still hate Auburn.

From someone who has been to both, JH>BDS. IMHO FWIW

But just by sheer logistics of TS being larger and the whole being under sea level thing, I would think TS would be louder.

Is it any different than when they parade Mike around the stadium and fans cheer and get fired up?

funny story.. our family was on a packed shuttle bus to the stadium and an LSU fan yelled out (very loudly) I HATE AUBURN!!!!! BUT I LOVE LSU!!!!!

and an old grumpy AU lady rolled her eyes and gave a hurrmph!

LSU: "Lady, you don't want to hear my other cheer"!

AU grump: "well if you hate Auburn so much, then why are you here"?

my 12 year old: "OKAY......Didn't she hear that part about how he LOVES LSU"?
