Omaha - best bars for LSU fans

Posted by LSU868891 on 6/11/25 at 5:35 am
First time going and really looking forward to it. What are the best bars for Tiger fans?
1709tiger - FSU had that same scenario for years.

Rex, Miles is going to get his money regardless of whether he goes Sunday or at the end of the contract.

Most posters here think Fisher is a shoe in - I don't buy it. Why would he leave that program. He's using us.

Under my scenario, Kelly gets a shot at HC at LSU. If you are Kelly, do you want this job or something like Miami, or S Carolina?
I think Miles stays 1-3 years with him retiring at the end of that time period. But, with specific performance standards that must be met (win lost record, recruiting, etc).

Chip Kelly comes in as OC/HC in waiting. He's guaranteed HC job if again certain performance standards are met (offensive ranking, points scored, whatever).

Steele is given 1-2 years to show he can create top defense. Again, they set performance standards.

To me, this is a great solution. Miles is treated with respect and given chance to clean up his legacy. Minimal impact on recruiting. Actually, would be a big boost on recruiting, especially offensive players. With the excitement on the O side of the ball, I would think the D side recruiting would improve as well.

If these guys meet their goals, it's a win win for the program with minimal lost during transition phase to a new coach.

The Jim Fisher thing, to me, sounds like wishful thinking. Just using rumors to improve his package at FSU.

Ok.........have at it.

Well said. Those who mock this view are not true fans of the game and this school.

Look, I agree. We win out and it doesn't matter. Just saying, it helps us with a Florida win and Clemson lost.

Still need all teams we beat to be ranked as high as possible----just behind us. Don't get me wrong. I hate Florida.

B/c we beat them. Our win will look better to CFP committee.

Need Florida to win and Clemson to lose.

We played a pretty decent ND team, a team that came damn close to beating FSU. We came damn close and should have beat Bama. I'm hopeful for the future.

At least we're not Ole Miss

What a disaster and disgrace.

I agree. Good post. Watching LF yesterday - he was a man among boys. Pressure will be on Les, but I think he comes through. This is a top program given the state of high school football here, the fan base, the league we're in, and the willingness and ability to pay for top coaching.
Spaulding - if you're going to listen to music before the game, what are you listening to? that's the point of this thread.
Here is just a few of mine right now - always looking to add:

Filter - Hey Man, Nice Shot
Willie - Whiskey River
Tracy Lawrence - Saturday in the South
Naturally 7 - Feel It
Besides the basic Tiger Band music, what are your favorite songs you gotta hear before the game to get fired up?

:geauxtigers:
Where is the best place to watch the game in Houston in the Galleria area?
I agree completely with the main concept, with the following modification. You shouldn't be able to qualify to play in the BCSCG unless you win your conference.

Piping in music is pitiful.
