We are staying on a boat on lake Alatoona (I think I spelled that right) what's the best parking option coming in from that direction?
You may as well just drive downtown and find a lot if you'recoming in from that far. Just get off I-75 at Northside Drive and take the back way to the dome. There will be lots all along Northside once you get the World Congress Center.

MARTA it's SMARTA... train will take you directly to the GA Dome, if you know the terminal layout you can avoid crowds. you just have to walk past a couple of MARTA Cops like you know what you are doing.

What do you think my best option is coming from the Emory University area? And should I be worried about getting shot/robbed at my hotel right around Emory?

Be careful, the orothodox Jews who live around there are a rough bunch.
Clifton Road is the main street that runs through Emory. Take it south to Ponce de Leon. Go west on Ponce until you ge to Peachtree. Then south on Peachtree into downtown.

Only person I know that went to Emory was a jew actually
Clifton Road is where the hotel is at. Managed to get two double beds for 70 a night, which I feel like is a steal considering I booked them only a week ago.
What happened to the Buckhead area? I was hearing that was the spot to be and already had plans to head that way Friday night.

They closed all the bars in Buckhead. The Buckhead of old is no more. Although Moon Dogs, Hole in the Wall and Peachtree Tavern all of which are right together might still be open. If not they were right next door to a Locos Grill and Pub.

Well, where would you suggest a group of guys in their mid twenties go out for a good time?

Go to the three bars I listed in the earlier post. I believe they are still open and are located on Peachtree Road.
Also a place called East Andrews I believe is still open. All those are not bad. Nice sceneary but very stuck up bitches.
I honestly haven't been to Buckhead in over a year, but those are the places we used to go when we did go down there.

No problem, If your looking for a good place to eat cajun food in MidTown go to Front Page News. Pretty gumbo there.
Anything else you need let me know.

Tavern at Phipps is one potential.

Go to the Churchills, 5 Paces, Pool Hall, Kramer's area of Buckhead. That is generally a mid 20s crowd.

I forgot about Churchills. That place it not bad. Drinks a little more on the high side as compared to MoonDogs and Peachtree Tavern.

Well drinks are like $5. I know domestics are $3.50.
I think Moondogs has $5 well drinks as well. You used to be able to get $4 Natty pitchers there. Not sure if that is the case anymore.
The scene around Churchill's is better IMO.
